It hasn’t occurred to them that delving into this question might make a great story. They just roll their eyes, name call, and move on.
They’ve made no effort to report on (or even understand) any other point of view aside from their own. Maybe they have natural immunity, or they have questions that are not being answered honestly, or they are concerned about the lies and censorship that are coming from the pro-forced vaccine crowd. They are entitled to that view, but they are supposed to be reporters…and yet they don’t seem to have *any* idea why so many people are declining to vaccinate. (2) The NIN hosts have made it abundantly clear that anyone who hasn’t gotten the vaccine is a selfish idiot. Of course, that would *never* happen in the CDA Press. Imagine if these rallys were covered the opposite way. No mention of where it was, how many attended, or what their arguments were. Then, almost as an afterthought, they mentioned there was also an anti-abortion rally. No rebuttal quotes, no probing questions. NIN covered the pro-abortion demonstration, complete with quotes from participants and very sympathetic reporting on their point of view. Two examples on NIN from this week: (1) Local demonstrations were held on both sides of the abortion issue. The NIN podcast has a very liberal slant so stop kidding yourself. But *please* stop claiming to be unbiased.
NIN is a great roundup up local news and events & the hosts keep it informative and light-hearted. Attorneys were scheduled to give closing arguments Monday in the murder trial of three white men charged in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, whose death became part of a broader reckoning on racial injustice in the criminal legal system.Prosecutors and defense attorneys were expected to spend hours making their final cases to the disproportionately white jury.
